1. About CarPlayTesla

CarPlayTesla is an independent aftermarket business specializing in vehicle-specific modification parts and accessories for Tesla vehicles. Our product range may include infotainment and display upgrades, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto retrofit modules, head-up displays, rear-seat screens, cameras and sensors, lighting products, interior and exterior accessories, wiring harnesses, installation components, and other Tesla-compatible upgrades.

2. Eligibility and Authority

You must be at least the age of majority in your country or region to use the Services or place an order. If you use the Services on behalf of a company or another organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You agree to provide accurate, complete and current information when creating an account, placing an order, requesting a compatibility check or contacting us.

3. Policies Incorporated into These Terms

The following policies form part of these Terms:

• Privacy Policy

If a product page, written warranty or order confirmation contains product-specific terms, those terms apply to that product. If there is a conflict, the more specific term controls to the extent permitted by applicable law.

4. Product Information and Aftermarket Products

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, specifications, photographs, videos, dimensions, prices, availability, installation information and compatibility guidance.

However, colors, packaging, included components, interface appearance, finishes and minor design details may vary because of screen settings, vehicle configuration, production improvements, supplier changes or manufacturing batches.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, products sold on the Site are independent aftermarket products and are not original equipment manufactured, supplied, approved or installed by Tesla.

We may correct errors, update information, change product specifications or pricing, limit quantities or discontinue a product at any time. If a material error affects an order already placed, we will contact you and, where appropriate, allow you to confirm the corrected order or receive a refund.

5. Vehicle Compatibility

Many of our products are vehicle-specific. Compatibility can depend on details that are not reliably determined by model year alone, including:

• Vehicle model, model year, production date, trim and market or region.
• Dashboard, center console, screen, connector, camera or lighting configuration.
• Factory infotainment hardware, MCU or computer version, software version and original options.
• Previous repairs, retrofits, non-original equipment or other modifications.

Before ordering, you must review the compatibility information on the product page and provide complete and accurate vehicle information when requested.

We may request photographs, videos, build information, screen or software details, or connector photographs before dispatch. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering.

A compatibility check is based on the information available to us and the information you provide. It does not guarantee compatibility where relevant details are incomplete, inaccurate, concealed or later changed.

We may hold or cancel an order if compatibility cannot reasonably be confirmed. Costs arising from an incorrect selection or inaccurate customer-provided vehicle information are handled under our Return Policy and applicable law.

6. Installation, Vehicle Safety and Lawful Use

Product installation may involve removing trim or dashboard components, connecting vehicle wiring, mounting hardware, configuring software or working near electrical systems. Installation difficulty and time vary by product and vehicle.

You must follow all supplied instructions, disconnect power where instructed, use appropriate tools, and stop installation if any connector, wiring route, mounting point or system behavior differs from the instructions.

If you are not experienced with automotive electronics or trim removal, use a qualified professional installer.

We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, improper wiring, forced connectors, unsuitable tools, unauthorized modification, misuse, failure to follow instructions, or continued use after a fault becomes apparent.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Drivers remain responsible for safe vehicle operation. Video, gaming, mirroring, messaging and other distracting features must not be viewed or operated by the driver while driving.

You are responsible for complying with traffic, road-safety, vehicle-modification, inspection, insurance and other laws applicable where the vehicle is registered or used.

Vehicle modifications may affect a vehicle manufacturer’s warranty, lease, insurance, inspection status or access to manufacturer support, depending on the modification and local law.

We do not represent that installing an aftermarket product can never affect those matters. Consult the vehicle manufacturer, insurer, lessor or a qualified local professional when necessary.

7. Software, Firmware and Third-Party Services

Some products use software or firmware and may interact with third-party devices, apps, networks, operating systems or platforms, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, navigation services and mobile applications.

Feature availability may vary by product, phone, operating system, language, region, subscription, network connection and third-party service.

Updates made by Tesla, Apple, Google, mobile-device manufacturers, app providers or other third parties may change or interrupt compatibility or functionality.

Where available, we may provide troubleshooting, firmware or configuration guidance, but we do not control and cannot guarantee the continued availability, performance or compatibility of third-party services.

You may use software or firmware supplied with a product only for that product and its intended purpose.

Except where applicable law permits otherwise, you may not copy, sell, redistribute, circumvent, reverse engineer, decompile or modify our proprietary software or firmware.

8. Orders and Contract Formation

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

Acceptance occurs when we dispatch the product or otherwise expressly confirm acceptance.

We may refuse, limit, hold or cancel an order before dispatch for reasons including:

• Product unavailability.
• Pricing or description errors.
• Suspected fraud or payment failure.
• Incomplete shipping information.
• Inability to confirm vehicle compatibility.
• Export or destination restrictions.
• Unusually large quantities.
• Violation of these Terms.

If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount collected for the cancelled item to the original payment method.

You are responsible for reviewing the product, variant, vehicle fitment, quantity, price, delivery address and contact information before submitting your order.

Contact us promptly if you need to request a change. We cannot guarantee changes or cancellations after processing or dispatch has begun.

9. Prices, Payment, Taxes and Import Charges

Prices are displayed in the currency selected on the Site. Currency conversions may be estimates, and your payment provider may apply its own exchange rate or fees.

You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the payment method selected at checkout for the order total and any clearly disclosed charges.

Unless checkout expressly states otherwise, product prices do not include destination-country customs duties, import VAT, sales or use taxes, brokerage charges, remote-area charges, storage fees or other government or carrier fees.

The recipient is responsible for these charges and for providing information required for customs clearance.

Refusal to pay import charges may result in return, abandonment or disposal of the shipment. Related costs may be deducted from any refund to the extent permitted by law.

10. Shipping and Delivery

Processing and delivery times are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates.

Delays may occur because of compatibility confirmation, stock availability, carrier operations, customs clearance, weather, public holidays, remote destinations, incorrect address information or events beyond our reasonable control.

You must provide a complete and deliverable address and monitor tracking information.

If a package is delayed, lost, damaged, returned or shown as delivered but not received, contact us promptly so that we can review the matter with the carrier.

Shipping, delivery, title and risk of loss are subject to our Shipping Policy and any mandatory rights under applicable law.

11. Returns, Cancellations, Exchanges and Refunds

Returns, cancellations, exchanges and refunds are governed by our Return Policy.

You must contact us and obtain return instructions before sending a product back.

Do not send returns to an address shown on a shipping label unless we have confirmed that address for the return.

Electronics, vehicle-specific parts, installed products, customized items, and products with damaged or altered serial numbers may be subject to return restrictions as described in the Return Policy.

These restrictions do not exclude statutory cancellation, conformity, repair, replacement, refund or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

12. Limited Warranty and Technical Support

The warranty period and coverage for a product are those stated on the applicable product page, written warranty document or order confirmation at the time of purchase.

If no product-specific warranty period is stated, contact us before purchasing for the applicable coverage.

Warranty remedies may include diagnosis, repair, replacement parts, replacement or another remedy required by applicable law.

Unless stated otherwise or required by law, warranty coverage does not apply to problems caused by:

• Normal wear and tear.
• Accident, impact or liquid ingress.
• Misuse or improper storage.
• Incorrect installation or wiring.
• Inaccurate or incomplete vehicle information.
• Unauthorized repair or modification.
• Altered or missing serial numbers.
• External vehicle or electrical faults.
• Use outside the product’s intended purpose.

To diagnose a claim, we may reasonably request your order number, product serial number, vehicle details, photographs, videos, wiring checks, system information, diagnostic results or cooperation with remote troubleshooting.

Technical support availability, methods and response times may vary. Any specific promise of lifetime support applies only when expressly stated for the purchased product.

This limited warranty is in addition to, and does not replace or reduce, consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Accounts and Account Security

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity occurring under your account.

Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or restrict an account when reasonably necessary to protect customers, the Site or our legal rights.

14. Promotions, Discounts and Availability

Promotions, discount codes, gifts, bundles and limited offers are subject to any additional conditions displayed with the offer.

Unless stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined, have no cash value, and may be changed or withdrawn before an eligible order is accepted. Products and quantities are subject to availability.

15. Reviews, Feedback and User Content

If you submit a review, photograph, video, question, suggestion or other content, you confirm that you own it or have permission to submit it and that it is accurate, lawful and does not infringe another person’s rights.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, adapt for formatting, translate, publish and display that content for operating and promoting the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

We may moderate or remove user content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, irrelevant, infringing, contains personal or confidential information, or violates these Terms.

16. Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content, including our text, product photographs, graphics, videos, logos, page designs, manuals, downloads and software, are owned by or licensed to CarPlayTesla and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, revocable and non-transferable right to access and use the Site for personal shopping and lawful business purchasing.

You may not reproduce, scrape, republish, sell, distribute, modify or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.

17. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services, including Shopify, payment providers, shipping carriers, review platforms, social networks, tracking services and app providers.

We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or separate terms. Your use of them may be governed by their own terms and privacy notices.

18. Prohibited Uses

You must not use the Services to:

• Violate any law, regulation, export restriction or third-party right.
• Submit false identity, payment, delivery, vehicle or compatibility information.
• Introduce malware, harmful code or content intended to disrupt the Site.
• Circumvent security, access controls, purchase limits or fraud-prevention measures.
• Scrape, crawl, copy or overload the Site through unauthorized automated means.
• Harass others, submit unlawful content or misuse customer-support channels.
• Resell, export, install or use a product in a manner prohibited by applicable law.

19. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not warrant that the Site will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free of harmful components.

Product performance and compatibility can vary because of vehicle hardware, build date, region, installation quality, software updates, mobile devices, networks and third-party services.

Except for express written product warranties and rights required by law, we disclaim implied warranties to the extent they may lawfully be disclaimed.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarPlayTesla and its directors, employees, affiliates, suppliers and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential loss arising from the Services or a product.

This includes loss of profit, revenue, data, opportunity, vehicle use or business interruption.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from a particular product or order will not exceed the amount you paid to us for that product or order.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded, or any warranty, remedy, consumer right or other liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

21. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless CarPlayTesla and its affiliates, personnel and service providers from third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your material breach of these Terms, or your infringement of another party’s rights.

This section does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by our own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct.

22. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, fire, epidemic, war, civil disturbance, labor disruption, government action, customs action, carrier interruption, power or internet outage, cyberattack, supplier interruption or shortage of materials.

This section does not remove rights or refunds that applicable law requires.

23. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the Site, engage in fraud or unlawful conduct, or create a security risk.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability and dispute provisions—will survive.

24. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before beginning formal proceedings, you and CarPlayTesla agree to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the dispute through customer support.

Subject to any mandatory law that gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere, disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China.

If you are a consumer, this choice of law and forum does not deprive you of mandatory protections or access to a court that cannot lawfully be waived in your country or region.

25. Changes to the Services and These Terms

We may update the Services and these Terms from time to time for operational, technical, commercial, security or legal reasons.

The revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent.

Changes do not retroactively reduce rights that have already arisen under an accepted order unless permitted by law.

26. General Terms

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent.

We may assign ours in connection with a merger, reorganization, sale of business or transfer to an affiliate, subject to applicable law.

These Terms, together with the policies and product-specific terms incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services and your purchases, except for rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
